Janic Godin

Janic Godin is a dynamic and dedicated broadcaster with 15 years of professional experience in the communications industry. In his 15 years of experience, Janic has had many opportunities to host a vast array of events including banquets, galas, official ceremonies... (you can fill in the blanks here). In 1993 he helped to pioneer the comedy trio, The Shrimps, and entertained crowds all over eastern Canada. Janic’s success comes from his ability to intertwine his entertaining and comedic flair with a hardcore drive for journalistic perfection. Combined with an intrinsic ability to set people at ease and a genuine interest in the varied stories of people’s lives, Janic uncovers and delivers splendid glimpses of life, showing the ordinary for its truly fascinating qualities.
While many of his investigative and entertaining abilities come naturally, Janic was afforded the opportunity to hone his skill and broaden his interests through his Bachelor’s Degree obtained in 2004 at the Universtiy of Moncton. With a major in Information Communication and a minor in Political Science, a degree preceded by a diploma received at l’Ecole de diction et d’elocution Promedia (Montreal, QC, 1997), Janic was amply prepared for a richly rewarding career in broadcasting. He has worked as a sports announcer, journalist, etc (you can translate and fill this in from your CV) with Fundy Cable (Moncton, NB), CKUM-FM (Moncton, NB), CKRO-MF (Pokemouche, NB), CHAU-TVA (Carleton, QC), and most recently CBC Radio-Canada Atlantique where he has been an anchor since 2002.
